How this all started? I wrote a children’s book about bees 15 yrs ago. That is on my homepage and it is free for you to read to your children.
I used to run a flower shop in the north of England, called, ‘Bee Bees Flower Shed’, and it was called that because I used to have wooden bees I placed on honey jars in the window. The shop had a wooden floor and wall panels, so it seemed befitting to call it a shed. Children, from the nearby school, used to shout out as they passed my shop, ‘Bee bees’. They clearly loved that name.
I’m almost retired now and live in Scotland, although I am from the north of England. Here is where I’m my happiest, because Scotland is one of the most beautiful places I have ever come across. I hope you enjoyed my ‘Bee bees’ story and your children liked listening to it.
